We are currently hiring for a Patient Care Technician 0.5 FTE. This position provides both clerical support and patient care responsibilities in the PeriAnesthesia Department. Shifts scheduled Monday - Friday 10-hour, day shift (6:00am-4:30pm). Benefit eligible position at our St. Paul Main Campus! ** This position is a 0.5 FTE role with a consistent weekly schedule. Candidates must be available year‑round. At this time, we are not able to consider applicants who are only available during summer or academic breaks.
Clerical support is provided to the nursing departments through coordination of communication, transcription of provider orders, and maintenance of unit supplies. Patient care is provided by assisting the professional nurse in meeting basic activity of daily living (ADL) needs of the patient while maintaining an orderly and safe physical environment as well as venipuncture, IV starts, assisting with medical procedures.
Compensation & Benefits Information
The hourly wage for this opportunity is $21.18 min to $31.75, with a median wage of $26.47/hour. Pay is dependent on several factors including relevant work experience, education, certification & licensure, and internal equity. Hourly pay is just one part of the compensation package for employees.
