Patient Care Technician facilitates and assists in meeting theneeds of the patient. These tasks are to be within the range ofresponsibilities that the Registered Nurse (RN) can rightfullydelegate to an unlicensed patient care provider. The Patient CareTechnician (PCT) follows the direction of the Registered Nurse, theLead/Charge Nurse, the Nursing Director/ Assistant NursingDirector, as well as the House Supervisor.
