DaVita Kidney Care is launching a new service line called DaVita Skilled Nursing Dialysis Services (DSD), bringing our clinical quality to patients in skilled nursing facilities (SNF). This service aims to serve the approximately 10% of dialysis patients in SNFs, reducing transportation burdens and healthcare costs. Ideal team members will have significant DaVita experience, thrive in a start-up environment, and be autonomous yet collaborative.

What you can expect:

You will be responsible for the complete ongoing care of dialysis patients, working closely with dialysis RNs. You will work 3 days a week with no on-call responsibilities, making a daily impact on patients' lives.

Patient Care: Providing safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment through direct patient care.

Complexity: Managing complex dialysis care, meeting clinical outcomes, and multitasking to serve patients and SNF partners effectively.

Autonomy and Critical Thinking: Delivering comprehensive care independently, monitoring patients, setting up machines, and applying your core skills to ensure optimal outcomes.

Additional Details:

  • Training includes classroom and hands-on learning through DaVita’s programs.
  • Training may occur in various facilities or clinics.
  • Work hours during training typically range from 32-40 hours per week.
  • Support for other local SNF sites may be required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Prior hemodialysis experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills (MS Word and Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) certification
  • Training, teaching, or healthcare education background
