Job summary

Main Line Health in Malvern, PA is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support nurses on the unit, assisting with daily living activities, taking vital signs, and performing routine tasks such as Accu-Cheks, phlebotomy, and EKGs.

The role covers Day, Evening, and Night shifts across Full-Time and Part-Time schedules, with opportunities for tuition reimbursement up to $6,000 annually.

Previous patient care experience and a high school diploma are valued, with BLS preferred before orientation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Phlebotomy and vital signs experience is preferred.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification preferred or required before unit orientation.
• Delivery of patient services experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities.
• Take vital signs and monitor patient status.
• Perform phlebotomy tasks and EKGs as needed.
• Assist with Accu-Cheks and other nursing assistant duties.

We Hire Patient Care Techs For The Following Positions

Full-Time, Part-Time w/ Benefits, Weekend Program Positions Available

• Non-Benefits Eligible: 2/4 Weekends per Month, 12hr shifts (7pm - 7am)
• Benefits Eligible:
• 3/4 Weekends per Month, 12hr shifts (7am - 7pm) or (7pm - 7am)
• Full Time, 3 12hr shifts per week with an Every 4th Weekend Rotation, (11am - 11pm) or (7pm - 7am)
• Part Time, 3 8hr shifts per week with an Every 4th Weekend Rotation, (2:45pm - 11:15pm)

At Main Line Health, our PCT’s work on Day, Evening, and Night Shifts. The shifts currently available are based on department needs.

Experience

What We are Looking for:

Phlebotomy Experience Preferred.

Previous experience in delivery of patient services preferred.

Education

Graduation from high school or equivalent required.

Some college preferred.

Licensures & Certifications

BLS Healthcare Provider preferred on hire / required prior to completion of unit orientation.
