Job summary

Main Line Health in Malvern, PA is seeking a Patient Care Technician to assist with daily living activities, take vital signs, and support nursing staff across day, evening, and night shifts. The role includes potential tuition reimbursement of up to $6,000 annually based on FTE status and position.

Mandatory 3-week training (3 weekdays per week) is required, and BLS Healthcare Provider is preferred on hire or before unit orientation. Per diem schedule and a Regular employee status are noted.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in delivery of patient services preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• BLS Healthcare Provider preferred on hire / required prior to completion of unit orientation.
• Graduation from high school or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities and patient care.
• Take vital signs and perform basic nursing assistant tasks.
• Perform Accu-Chek, Phlebotomy, and EKG procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to support patient experience.

Available Opportunities:

• Non-Benefits Eligible: 2/4 Weekends per Month, 12hr shifts (7am – 7pm) or (7pm – 7am)
• Benefits Eligible:3/4 Weekends per Month, 12hr shifts (7am – 7pm) or (7pm – 7pm)
• Part Time 8hr shifts (2:45pm – 11:15pm with an every 4th weekend rotation), 20hrs per week

At Main Line Health, our PCT’s work on Day, Evening, and Night Shifts. The shifts currently available are based on department needs.

Experience:
