Job Summary
The Patient Care Technician (PCT) II performs patient care activities, including identifying and responding to abnormal findings, escalating changes in the patient’s condition to the nurse, and activities of daily living (ADLs). The PCT II assists with patient elimination, hygiene, comfort, safety, nutrition, and activity, practicing patient and family-centered care. This role typically reports to the Unit Manager.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: None
Licenses/Certifications: Certified in Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) within 90 days of employment.
