Job summary

Valley Forge Medical Center is seeking a dedicated nursing assistant to support clinical and clerical duties. You will monitor vital signs, perform EKGs and blood draws, and help keep patient records accurate in the EMR system.

The role combines direct patient care with administrative tasks, requiring strong communication and attention to detail. Weekend rotations are required and CPR certification is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• CPR certification required
• CCMA preferred
• 3 x12s 6:45ap - 7:15am with every other weekend rotation
• 3 x12s 6:45am - 7:15pm with every other weekend rotation

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring patient conditions and maintain accurate vital sign records (BP, pulse, temperature)
• Perform EKGs and blood draws
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated patient care
• Complete necessary forms and paperwork
• Verify and update patient information, insurance, and medical history in the EMR system

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in monitoring patient conditions and maintain accurate vital sign records, including blood pressure, pulse rate, and temperature.
• Perform EKGs and blood draws.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care delivery.
• Complete necessary forms and paperwork.
• Verify and update patient information, insurance details, and medical history in the EMR system.
