HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital in Florida is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our collaborative nursing team and support RNs with hands-on care, vital signs, and daily patient needs. You will help create a safe, welcoming environment and assist with mobility and personal care as part of a compassionate care team.

No prior experience is required; BLS (CPR) is required within 30 days of starting.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient preparation, mobility, transfers and comfort.
• Provide non-medicated care such as dressing changes and skin protection.
• Keep patient areas clean, organized and stocked for safety and efficiency.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support smooth care and recovery
• Providing non-medicated care such as dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices
• Keeping patient areas and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency
• Managing supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness
• Communicating kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
