Job summary

Franciscan Health Dyer Campus, located at 24 Joliet St, Dyer, Indiana 46311, is hiring a Patient Care Technician. You will provide hands-on patient care alongside nurses, gaining exposure to diverse patient populations and care environments.

Minimum pay starts at $18.02 per hour, with day and night shifts available. Franciscan offers BLS training and supports growth within a compassionate, team-driven hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Active CNA license through Indiana or prior PCT experience in an acute care hospital or nursing student who completed first clinicals or completed Franciscan PCT Training Program.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required or in process; Franciscan will provide training/recertification as needed.

As a Patient Care Technician at Franciscan Health, you’ll perform delegated patient care activities. You are the caregivers who spend most of the time with our patients. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• You must either have an active Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) license through the State of Indiana OR prior Patient Care Technician experience in an acute care health care organization OR are a nursing student that has completed your 1st semester of clinicals OR have completed the Franciscan PCT Training Program
• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
  • Franciscan will provide BLS training and recertification as needed

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma/GED
