Job summary

TriStar Horizon Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our collaborative nursing team in Dickson, Tennessee. You will assist Registered Nurses with hands-on patient care, monitor conditions, and help implement care plans while ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for patients.

You will support daily needs such as vital signs, mobility, and personal care, contributing to teamwork and compassionate care that restores comfort and dignity for every patient served.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient preparation, mobility, transfers and comfort to support smooth care and recovery.
• Provide non-medicated care such as dressing changes, skin protection and use of supportive devices.
• Keep patient areas and common spaces clean, organized and stocked for safety and efficiency.
• Manage supplies, equipment and logs to support infection control and team readiness.
• Communicate kindly with patients, families and the care team to support safety and quality.

Education
