Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our nursing team on a full-time night shift from 7pm to 7am, with rotating weekends. You will assist Registered Nurses with vital signs, mobility, and personal care, helping create a safe, welcoming environment for patients as part of an experienced healthcare team.

Applicants should have Basic Life Support within 30 days of start date, and CNA or PCT certification is preferred along with 1+ year healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• CNA or PCT certification preferred
• 1+ years experience in a healthcare setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Assisting with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support smooth care and recovery
• Providing non-medicated care such as dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices
• Keeping patient areas and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency
• Managing supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness
• Communicating kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality

Job Summary And Qualifications

As a Patient Care Technician (PCT), you will be a vital part of our collaborative nursing team, supporting Registered Nurses in providing hands‑on care and helping create a safe, welcoming environment for patients.
