Live Well Homecare in Chicago seeks a compassionate CNA to provide direct patient care and support clinical procedures in a homecare setting.

Responsibilities include assisting with admissions, discharges, hygiene, feeding, mobility, vital signs, specimen collection, and newborn screenings; support EKGs, phlebotomy, oxygen setup, and post-operative care. Documentation is essential.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification or enrollment in nursing school with clinical rotations.
• CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• Must score 90%+ on mandatory health and safety training quizzes.
• Demonstrates flexibility, organization, multitasking, critical thinking, and composure in stressful situations.

The role also requires supporting procedures like EKGs, fetal monitoring, phlebotomy, oxygen setup, and post-operative care, while ensuring safety and infection control protocols. Accurate documentation of patient observations and contributions to a safe, clean environment are essential. Collaboration within a team-based care approach, participating in staff meetings, training, and quality initiatives, is also key.
