Job summary

Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital is seeking a Full-time Night Patient Care Technician to cover 6P–6A. The role involves providing direct patient care under nurse supervision, taking vitals, performing blood draws, and supporting admissions and discharges in a busy medical-surgical unit.

Candidates should have a high school education or equivalent and at least 1 year of related experience. Weekend rotation is required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience or equivalent.
• High School Education or equivalent (education requirement).
• Must Work Every Other weekend.

Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital is looking for a Full-time Night Patient Care Technician. 6P - 6A

As a Patient Care Technician with Sentara, you will have the opportunity to learn many new skills. From taking vitals to blood draws and daily care. The primary duties of this position include supporting the admission/discharge process, changing, bathing ambulating patients, drawing blood, foley catheter care, meeting patient needs while working under the direct supervision of a nurse. You will find that teamwork is exceptional, with everyone working together to provide the best care for our patients.
