Job summary

Brookings Health System in Brookings, SD is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our team. The role provides basic nursing support under the supervision of an RN, caring for patients across age groups and delivering compassionate, person-centered care.

Typical shifts include rotating days, evenings, and nights with a night differential for hours between 7 pm and 7 am. Prior inpatient care is preferred but not required, and nurse aide certification is welcome but not mandatory.

Must be highly skilled, well-prepared, and competent; must possess the knowledge base needed to deliver care to all patients effectively. Maintains responsibility for always providing excellent customer service; must be flexible to meet a constantly changing work environment.Previous Inpatient Care experience and nurse aide certification is preferred, but not required.Job Type:Part time16 hours per weekNight shift differential included for any hours worked between 7 pm and 7am.
