Job summary

Methodist Celina Medical Center seeks a Patient Care Technician to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and provide support to patients, the nursing unit, and professional staff in a fast-paced hospital environment.

The role requires completing a certified Patient Care Technician/Nursing Assistant/Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience, BLS certification, and a HS diploma. PRN shifts, weekends and holidays may be required, with a daily schedule around 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a certified Patient Care Technician, Nursing Assistant, or Medical Assistant Program.
• Or 1 year experience as a nursing assistant in a comparable healthcare facility.
• Or nursing student who completes the first semester of the nursing program.
• Or documented military experience as a medic/corpsman.
• Or foreign nursing graduate not currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Or EMT Certification/Paramedic License Experience.
• AHA Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) card required.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Methodist Celina Medical Center is located on a 40+ acre campus just off of Dallas Parkway, and will serve as the community’s first full-service hospital, serving Celina and surrounding communities. The four-story medical center will open with 51 beds, with plans for expansion, and will feature a range of services including cardiology, women’s services, orthopedics, robotic surgery, and more. The campus will also include a 40,000-square-foot medical office building.
