Job summary

Methodist Celina Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join the team on a PRN basis. You will support patient care on the nursing unit and collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to deliver high-quality care.

The role requires graduation from a certified PCT/Nursing Assistant/Medical Assistant program or relevant experience, BLS, and readiness to work a variable schedule including weekends and holidays in Celina, Texas.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from a certified Patient Care Technician, Nursing Assistant, or Medical Assistant Program.
  • Or 1 year experience as a nursing assistant in a comparable healthcare facility.
  • Or nursing student who documents completion of the first semester of the nursing program.
  • Or documented military experience as a medic/corpsman.
  • Or EMT Certification/Paramedic License Experience.
  • American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support card required.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
