Job summary

Atrium Medical Center in Middletown, OH seeks a Patient Care Technician to assist nurses and doctors with patient care tasks. You will monitor vitals, help patients with mobility and meals, collect samples, and report changes to the nurse.

Training includes a BLS CPR certificate; orientation can provide CPR if needed. Must have HS diploma or GED, completed STNA/CNA/PCT training, and be in nursing school with one clinical rotation.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Finished STNA, CNA, or PCT training.
• Currently in nursing school with one clinical rotation completed.
• BLS CPR certification required or provided at orientation.
• Past 5 years of patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check vital signs, temperature, heartbeat, and breathing.
• Assist patients with movement, dressing, and meals.
• Collect samples such as urine.
• Report changes in patient condition to a nurse.
• Support patient walks, hygiene, weighing, and daily vitals.
