Job summary

Atrium Medical Center in Middletown, OH is seeking a Patient Care Tech for the Admission Discharge unit. You will work with nurses to assist patients with daily needs and monitor vital signs.

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or GED.
• Training: obtain a BLS CPR certificate.
• Experience: no prior job required, but you should have one of the following: STNA/CNA/Patient Care Technician training; care of patients in past 5 years; currently in nursing school with one clinical rotation.
• Other Skills: multitasking, computer literacy, organization, good communication.

Responsibilities

• Check vital signs (temperature, heartbeat, breathing).
• Assist patients with movement, dressing, and meals.
• Collect urine samples.
• Report changes in a patient’s condition to a nurse.
• Assist with patient walking, hygiene, and vitals.
