Responsibilities

• Assists in direct patient care and clerical duties on the unit.
• Performs cardiac monitoring for patients on telemetry.
• Provides ECG monitoring and notifies RN of rhythm changes.
• Receives shift report and assists with admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Maintains clean, safe patient rooms and prepares patient charts.
• Answers phones and communicates with patients, visitors and staff.
