The Traumatic Brain Injury Unit is located at Moss-Magee Rehabilitation in Center City Philadelphia, PA.

Schedule Commitment:

  1. Full-Time (FT): Must be able to work three 12-hour shifts weekly. Must work every third weekend. Holiday commitment includes one holiday per season.
  2. Part-Time (PT): Must be able to work two 12-hour shifts weekly. Must work every third weekend. Holiday commitment includes one holiday per season.
  3. Per Diem: Must be able to work 48 hours within a 6-week period, including 24 weekend hours (Friday night, Saturday, or Sunday). Holiday commitment includes one holiday per season.

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Nurse Manager.
  • Providing direct bedside care to patients.
  • Performing assigned nursing procedures for patient comfort and well-being.
  • Maintaining documentation on all assigned patients, including flow sheets.
  • Assisting physicians with examinations and tests as needed.
  • Providing respiratory and rehabilitation services.

Qualifications:

To qualify as a Patient Care Tech, you must meet the following requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing assistant, PCT, or healthcare experience.
  • AHA BLS certification required.
  • Ability to work 72 hours bi-weekly.
  • Every third weekend availability.
  • Holiday rotation participation.
