Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or higher.
• Ability to communicate clearly, follow directions, and work independently.
• Preferred: Nurse Aide certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care per hospital policies, procedures, protocols and standards of care.
• Assist with activities of daily living and patient care needs as directed.
• Respond to call lights, inquiries and requests from patients and families in a timely manner.
• Collect, document and report ongoing patient care data.
• Measure and document intake and output, including daily weights when indicated.
• Transport patients as directed and obtain necessary patient care equipment.
