Job summary

Deborah is seeking a healthcare aide to perform direct and non-direct patient care duties under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Clinical Team Leader. Tasks vary by area and may include technical responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred candidates have prior PCT, CMA, or nursing assistant experience, plus BLS certification. Hours are 72 per pay period, 7:00 pm to 7:00 am, with a starting rate of $18.00 per hour and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of Patient Care, Multi-skilled Tech certification program, Medical Assistant Certification, or equivalent experience.
• Basic Life Support CPR (BLS) required.
• Preferred: PCT certification, CMA license, EKG and/or Phlebotomy certifications.

Responsibilities

• Direct and non-direct patient care duties under RN/Clinical Team Leader/Director of Critical Care Nursing supervision.
• Duties may vary by assigned area.

Experience

License and Credentials

Required: American Heart BLS Healthcare Provider

Skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work well with others, conscientious, organized and reliable; computer skills for hospital information system; ability to read and write English.

The minimum starting rate for this position is $18.00
