TMC Bonham Hospital is a 25-bed critical access facility that provides inpatient and outpatient services with 24-hour emergency care. The Patient Care Tech supports licensed nurses by assisting with basic patient care and safety, under supervision, in a rural hospital setting.

The role emphasizes timely, compassionate care delivery and effective communication with patients and staff, contributing to our goal of quality care and patient safety in a CAH environment.

Qualificações

• Reading and numerical competency.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider course according to RQI program guidelines must be completed during new hire orientation prior to working in a clinical setting.
• Must be able to provide basic care giving skills to patients. Must have effective communication and time management skills.

Responsabilidades

• The Patient Care Tech works under the direction of a licensed nurse to assist in meeting the physical and psychosocial needs of patients in a professional and timely manner.
• Performs various tasks as competency documentation designates.
• Position provides direct care with limited invasives procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
