Job summary

Universal Health Services' TMC Bonham Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Tech to support nursing staff in a 25-bed rural acute care setting. You will assist with basic patient care, monitor conditions, and help ensure comfort and safety under supervision.

Under the direction of a licensed nurse, you will perform tasks as competency documentation allows, provide direct care with limited invasives, and handle other duties as assigned to maintain quality patient care and timely service.

Qualifications

• Reading and numerical competency.
• Must have effective communication and time management skills.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification must be completed during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in meeting the physical and psychosocial needs of patients under licensed nurse supervision.
• Provide direct patient care with limited invasive procedures.
• Perform tasks as competency documentation designates and as assigned by the nurse.
• Support ongoing patient safety and comfort in a rural acute care setting.
