Job summary

HCA Florida Citrus Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support our nursing team and assist Registered Nurses in delivering hands-on care. You will help with vital signs, mobility, and personal care, while ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for patients.

Responsibilities include assisting with preparation and transfers, simple non-medicated care, maintaining infection-control standards, and effective communication with patients and families.

Qualifications

• BCLS/CPR certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

• Managing supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness
• Communicating kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality

What qualifications you will need:
