Job summary

Hartford HealthCare is seeking a Patient Care Tech for St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport. Per diem, 3pm–11:30pm shift, with duties focused on direct and indirect patient care in a high-demand hospital setting.

Under Nurse Leader supervision, you will support the care team, contribute to positive patient experiences, and pursue opportunities for advancement through the clinical ladder based on experience and certifications.

Qualifications

• BLS certification from the American Heart Association obtained within 60 days of hire date.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CNA/CPCT/A/EMT or CMA certification preferred for advancement in the PCT ladder.
• Some relevant acute care hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support direct and indirect patient care activities.
• Assist with basic patient needs and comfort measures.
• Contribute to a safe and efficient care environment under supervision.
