Job summary

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided on-site.
• Successful completion of PCT-specific orientation.
• Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) required or preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous experience in an acute care hospital environment is a plus
• Certification as CNA/CPCT/A/EMT/CMA supports advancement in PCT ladder

Responsibilities

• Under Nurse Leader supervision, perform direct and indirect patient care activities.
• Support a safe and efficient care environment per hospital standards.
• Execute selected interventions as part of the care team.
• Contribute to a positive patient experience in a high-activity unit.

Education

High school diploma or GED

Certified BLS Provider (AHA)

CNA, CPCT/A, EMT or CMA certification
