Texas Health HEB is seeking a Patient Care Tech (PCT) for the Tower 5 Med Surg Unit in Bedford, TX. This part-time daytime role offers growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include assisting patients per care plan, collecting data, facilitating admissions/discharges, and collaborating with nurses to provide culturally competent care while maintaining a safe, clean environment.

• Assists in admission/transfer/discharge.
• Provides and Revises patient activities of daily living based on patient/family preferences.
• Performs technical procedures safely and proficiently.
• Takes action to reduce or eliminate patient risk.
• Enters orders into computer or manual system if applicable.
• Documents accurately and appropriately.
• Adapts care to reflect patient population in collaboration with nurse.
• Incorporates cultural/religious needs and beliefs into delivery of care.
• Keeps patient environment clean and maintains safe environment.
• Anticipates patient/family and visitor needs and rounds as appropriate

Work hours:

Part Time, Day Shift (7a to 7p), 2 shifts, 24 hours per week. Great growth opportunity and complete benefits available.

What You Will Do
