Job summary

Abrazo West Campus at Tenet Healthcare seeks a patient care support professional (CNA/PCA) to attend to patients' personal needs and comfort under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will assist the licensed nurse and participate in shift and bedside reports to support patient care delivery.

The role emphasizes excellent customer service, infection control, and teamwork. CPR certification is required; one year of nursing assistant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or CNA/PCA/PCT certificate.
• EKG training in selected units.
• One year of nursing assistant experience in an acute care setting.
• CPR certification.

Job Summary

Provides individualized, culture-specific patient care by attending to the personal needs and comfort of patients, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Assists the professional or licensed nurse as delegated in tasks requiring less technical skills. Participates in shift and bedside report. Participates and supports regional, facility, department, and unit initiatives.

• Minimum Requirements:
  • Education:
    • High School Diploma/GED or a valid CNA or PCA/PCT Certificate
    • EKG training in selected units.
  • Experience: One year of experience as a nursing assistant in an acute care setting.
