Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence - East Campus seeks a Health Unit Coordinator to support patient care operations on site in El Paso, TX. The role emphasizes clerical tasks, coordination with clinical staff, and use of patient care equipment.

Strong preference for candidates with prior HUC training or clinical experience and current BLS certification. Training is provided for CPI and related duties as part of onboarding.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Preferred acute care and/or previous clinical experience.
• Current Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association).
• If Red Cross, must obtain American Heart Association within 60 days of hire.
• CPI certification within 90 days of hire/transfer.
• Ability to use computer driven patient care equipment.
• Preferred clerical or customer service experience with HUC training in a clinical setting.

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, and ABILITIES:

• Ability to use computer driven patient care equipment
