Baptist Health Arkansas is seeking a Patient Care Tech I for the Intermediate Care Unit. The role focuses on assisting patients and families with basic care, monitoring, hygiene, and working closely with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care.
The position expects flexible hours, strong organizational and communication skills, and a proactive approach to meeting patient needs as education in CPR and hospitality in healthcare is provided.
The primary function of the PCT is to assist the patient and family with basic patient care, monitoring, hygiene, and to help ensure care is complete. The PCT works as an essential part of the patient care team. As the member who spends most of their time in the presence of the patient, compassion, caring, and excellent human interaction skills are necessary along with excellent communication skills both to and from the patient and family, and to and from the rest of the healthcare team.
