Job summary

Tenet Healthcare in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a Night shift Patient Care Technician on a Per Diem basis. The role includes assisting with activities of daily living, basic nursing tasks, and guiding nursing assistants. Cross-trained to Unit Associate, you will help maintain a safe, clean unit and perform listed duties.

Qualifications include Nursing Assistant or EMT/Paramedic coursework, CPR/BLS, CPI within 30 days, and preferred CMA/EMT/Paramedic experience. Per diem shifts may vary.

Qualifications

Nursing Assistant Certification, or EMT or Paramedic certification is required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) must be completed within 30 days of hire/transfer.

The Patient Care Tech. assists patients with activities of daily living and provides basic nursing care to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of the patient, and serves as a clinical preceptor to Nursing Assistants & PCT's and is cross-trained to Unit Associate. Assists with maintenance of a safe and clean unit environment. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
