Job summary

GW Hospital seeks a Multi-skilled Technician to support direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role involves non-invasive procedures and requires basic clinical documentation and teamwork within a busy hospital setting.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma and CNA certification or related training, with strong communication and fundamental computer skills to support clinical operations and patient safety in the DC region.

Summary:

Performs under the direction of the Registered Nurse and performs various tasks as competency documentation designates. Position provides direct patient care limited to non-invasive procedures, unless specifically certified in phlebotomy.

Qualifications
Education/Qualification
  • High School diploma

At least six months of recent Hospital, long-term care, or medical work experience, which provided knowledge of basic patient-care activities related to Multi-skilled technician duties

Completion of CNA, Medical Assistant Course, two years of nursing school or other recent comparable education and job experience as stated in the MST comparable education policy

CNA certification preferred
