MercyOne Genesis is hiring a Patient Care Tech in Silvis, IL. The role supports the Registered Nurse by delivering safe, quality patient care and assisting with day-to-day tasks in the Operating Room Silvis department.

We offer a day shift, full-time (32 hours weekly) schedule with rotating weekends and holidays. High School diploma/GED required; Basic Life Support training preferred; competitive compensation and benefits included.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Special Training: Basic Life Support.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, quality patient care as delegated by the Registered Nurse.
• Assist nursing staff and physicians in patient care and non-patient care activities.
• Support department housekeeping, and supply/equipment/facility maintenance tasks.
