Job summary

MercyOne Genesis is seeking a Patient Care Tech to support safe, quality patient care under RN direction at Genesis Medical Center. You will assist nursing staff and physicians in patient care and non-patient care activities, handling housekeeping, supply and equipment tasks, and facility maintenance.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED, with Basic Life Support training and no prior experience required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
• Special Training: Basic Life Support.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the provision of safe, quality patient care as delegated by the Registered Nurse.
• Provide assistance to nursing staff and physicians in patient care activities.
• Perform tasks in a caring and efficient manner supporting customer service and housekeeping, supply/equipment, and facility maintenance.

As a patient care tech at MercyOne, you will participate in the provision of safe, quality patient care as delegated by the Registered Nurse through support of standards and philosophies of Genesis Medical Center. Provides assistance to nursing staff and physicians in various patient care and non-patient care activities. Performs tasks in a caring and efficient manner that supports customer service and assists with department related housekeeping, and supply/equipment/facility maintenance tasks.
