Job summary

Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville, GA invites a Patient Care Technician to join the Nephrology Unit. You will assist RNs and LPNs, participate in shifts, and help with routine patient care in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA certification preferred but not required.
• Previous patient care experience in hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist RNs and LPNs with meeting the needs of hospitalized patients or nursing home residents.
• Take and accurately record vital signs.
• Assist with admission, transfer and discharge while assuring comfort and safety.
• Provide complete and thorough personal care for patients.
• Promptly respond to patient's needs and to family members.
• Assist with ADL’s—personal care, feeding, bathing, and dressing.
