Job summary

MercyOne Genesis in the Quad Cities area is seeking a Patient Care Tech for the night shift on a part-time basis. You will support the Registered Nurse in the Medical Telemetry Surgical department, delivering safe, compassionate patient care and assisting with routine duties and equipment needs.

No prior experience is required; Basic Life Support is required, and CNA certification or healthcare student status is preferred. Schedule: part-time 24 hours per week (11:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.).

As a patient care tech at MercyOne, you will participate in the provision of safe, quality patient care as delegated by the Registered Nurse through support of standards and philosophies of Genesis Medical Center. Provides assistance to nursing staff and physicians in various patient care and non-patient care activities. Performs tasks in a caring and efficient manner that supports customer service and assists with department related housekeeping, and supply/equipment/facility maintenance tasks.

Schedule:

• Part time .6 (24 hours per week)

• 3rd Shift (11pm - 7:30am)

General Requirements

• No experience required

• Special Training: Basic Life Support

• Training Preferred: previous experience, healthcare student, CNA certification, medical terminology

Education:

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience

Pay Range: $16.06 - $23.29 per hour
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles
