Job summary

Premier Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join the Medical IP Unit at Miami Valley Hospital. Shift: 7AM-7:30PM, 36 hours per week.

You will work with nurses and physicians to monitor vitals, assist with mobility and daily activities, and collect samples. Training includes BLS CPR; prior experience is not required if you have STNA/CNA/PCT training or are in nursing school with clinical rotation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS CPR certification required (orientation-based training available).
• No prior job experience required if you have STNA/CNA/PCT training or are in nursing school with clinical rotation.

Responsibilities

• Check vitals (temperature, heartbeat, breathing).
• Assist patients with movement, dressing, and meals.
• Collect samples (e.g., urine) and report changes to the nurse.
• Assist with patient hygiene and transfers; weigh patients as needed.
