Job summary

Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) is seeking a Nurse Assistant / Patient Care Tech to perform routine patient care under RN supervision in a hospital setting. The role supports the care of hospitalized patients and requires completion of an approved nursing assistant program and BLS certification.

Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and completion of accredited nursing assistant or medical assisting programs, with at least some patient care experience.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED preferred.

• Previous experience or relevant coursework preferred.
• AHA BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• The Nurse Assistant / Patient Care Tech performs routine duties within training and certification in caring for hospitalized patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
