Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Northside is seeking a Patient Care Tech for Med Surg 1. This PRN role supports licensed clinical staff and delivers compassionate care to patients across the lifecycle.

Under supervision, you’ll perform treatments and operate equipment in line with hospital policy, with opportunities to grow. Preferred candidates have a CNA certification or PCT program completion; BCLS is required upon hire.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED preferred.
• No experience required; 1 year of patient care experience preferred.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required.
• CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant Preferred.
• Certification from a Patient Care Technician program Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients from birth through the lifecycle under supervision of licensed clinical staff.
• Demonstrate competency with treatments, procedures and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy.
