Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Northside is seeking a Patient Care Tech for Med Surg 1, PRN. You will provide patient care under supervision of licensed staff, demonstrating competency with treatments and equipment in a hospital setting.

No experience is required, though 1 year of patient care is preferred. BCLS is required upon hire; CNA or PCT program certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• No experience required; 1 year of patient care experience preferred.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required upon hire.
• CNA certification or PCA program certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle under licensed staff supervision.
• Demonstrates competency with treatments, procedures and equipment in a hospital setting, following policy.
