Job summary

AdventHealth in Rome, GA is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Patient Care Technician to join our night-shift team. You will assist RNs, provide patient care, and help maintain a safe environment in a fast-paced acute care setting.

The role requires completion of CNA and BLS certifications, with EMT/CPCT-A certifications preferred. This position offers solid benefits and opportunities for professional growth within AdventHealth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• Active CNA license required.
• CPCT/A certification preferred.
• EMT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs treatments according to policy and procedure, providing patient care appropriate to age, mobility, acuity, and culture.
• Functions appropriately in clinical emergencies.
• Participates in performance improvement activities and supports quality standards and initiatives.
• Follows isolation guidelines, uses protective equipment, performs handwashing, and enforces safety regulations.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
• Assists in delivering patient care under RN supervision.
• Documents and reports all procedures per department policy.
• Participates in obtaining nursing history and reports abnormalities to the RN.
• Assists in identifying patient needs.

Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS)
