Job summary

St. Davids Georgetown Hospital in Texas is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support our nursing team by assisting with vital signs, mobility, and personal care to help RNs monitor patient conditions and carry out care plans in a safe, compassionate environment.

You will perform non-medicated care, assist with dressing changes and skin protection, and ensure patient areas are clean and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency while collaborating with the care team and communicating

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Responsibilities

• Assisting with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support smooth care and recovery
• Providing non-medicated care such as dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices
• Keeping patient areas and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency
• Managing supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness
• Communicating kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality
