Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Tech to support clinical staff by delivering direct patient care from birth through adulthood, under supervision. You will assist with treatments and use equipment in accordance with hospital policy.

Preferred candidates have a GED or high school diploma, BCLS certification, and previous patient care experience or completion of a patient care technician program.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED preferred.
• No experience required; 1 year of patient care experience preferred.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required.
• CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant Preferred.
• Certification from a Patient Care Technician program Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients under supervision of licensed clinical staff.
• Demonstrate competency with treatments, procedures, and equipment per hospital policy.
