Job summary

Providence Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo is seeking a Patient Care Tech II to assist with basic nursing care. You will collect data, report to the RN, and maintain patient documentation in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role requires CNA or nursing program completion, EMT credentials, and BLS certification. This is a part-time, evening shift at an on-site department in the Emergency area, with the potential for shift differentials and benefits.

Qualifications

• Completion of a CNA program, Or completion of first semester nursing program, Or EMT program completion for hires to Emergency Services.
• Upon hire: California Nursing Assistant Certification License
• Upon hire: California Emergency Medical Technician License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Experience with basic data entry.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care for in-patients and out-patients as needed.
• Collect and report information to the supervising RN and complete patient care related documentation.
