Job summary

Baptist Health Arkansas is seeking a Patient Care Tech IHA for the LRPCT Resource Team. You will assist patients and families with basic care, monitor health conditions, and support the care team through compassionate, clear communication.

The role requires completion of 12 college credit hours with a GPA of 2.0 or higher, plus 3 months of experience. CPR and hospitality in healthcare training are included, with 0.80 hours bi-weekly scheduling.

Qualifications

• 12 college level credit hours including a passing grade in English Composition with a C or higher and an overall GPA of 2.0 or greater (transcripts verified).
• 3 months experience.
• Education will include CPR, Skills training, Crucial Conversations, and Hospitality in Healthcare. Will be added on 4th shift.

Patient Care Tech IHA - LRPCT Resource Team

The primary function of the PCT is to assist the patient and family with basic patient care, monitoring, hygiene, and to help ensure care is complete. The PCT works as an essential part of the patient care team. As the member who spends most of their time in the presence of the patient, compassion, caring, and excellent human interaction skills are necessary along with excellent communication skills both to and from the patient and family, and to and from the rest of the healthcare team.

Requirements:

• 12 college level credit hours including a passing grade in English Composition with a C or higher and an overall GPA of 2.0 or greater (transcripts verified).
