Veterans in Healthcare is seeking a Patient Care Tech I for the Telemetry unit in Little Rock, AR. The role involves assisting patients with basic care, monitoring health status, maintaining hygiene, and supporting family needs under the supervision of clinicians.
The PCT works closely with the care team to ensure compassionate, high-quality patient experiences. Day shift hours are 0630-1900, with a rotating schedule as needed.

The primary function of the PCT is to assist the patient and family with basic patient care, monitoring, hygiene, and to help ensure care is complete. The PCT works as an essential part of the patient care team. As the member who spends most of their time in the presence of the patient, compassion, caring, and excellent human interaction skills are necessary along with excellent communication skills both to and from the patient and family, and to and from the rest of the healthcare team.
12 college level credit hours that include a passing grade in English Composition with a C or higher and an overall GPA of 2.0 or greater. (transcripts will be verified upon application)
Healthcare experience preferred but not required. Service industry experience preferred but not required. Will provide education that includes: CPR, Skills training, Crucial Conversations, and Hospitality in Healthcare.
This job will be authorized 72.00 hours bi-weekly.
