Job summary

Baptist Health in Little Rock is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support patients on the Telemetry unit. You will assist with basic care, monitoring, hygiene, and ensure comprehensive care.

The role emphasizes compassion, teamwork, and strong communication with patients, families, and the health care team; day shift, 0630 to 1900, 72 hours biweekly.

No formal healthcare certification required initially; CPR/Skills training and hospitality in healthcare are provided during onboarding.

Qualifications

• 12 college level credits including English Composition with a C or higher and GPA ≥ 2.0.
• Healthcare experience preferred but not required.
• CPR, Skills training, Crucial Conversations, and Hospitality in Healthcare will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist patient and family with basic care, monitoring, and hygiene.
• Serve as essential part of the patient care team with strong communication.
• Support care on the Telemetry unit during the Day shift (0630–1900).
• Engage patients with compassionate interaction and proactive service.
