Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence - Trans Mountain Campus in El Paso, TX seeks a Multi-Skilled Tech / HUC to support patient care and administrative tasks. You will assist with activities of daily living, answer call bells, and help maintain a safe, clean environment under RN supervision.

Prior HUC or clinical clerical experience is preferred. Proficiency with MS Word/Excel/Outlook and bilingual English/Spanish is advantageous.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of Nursing Assistant Course (Preferred); Current BLS for health care providers; CPI Certification within 6 months of hire.
• Prior clerical or customer service experience; HUC training/experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Proficient in MS Windows-based applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook) and using computer-driven patient care equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (e.g., bathing, toileting, turning, feeding).
• Provide basic patient care under RN supervision and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Perform clerical/HUC duties when not assisting with patient care (answering phones, entering orders, general admin tasks).
• Support transfers and other duties as assigned by the supervising nurse.
