Job summary

Piedmont Newton Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Tech to assist licensed clinicians and provide compassionate care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, in accordance with hospital policy.

This role supports patient comfort, safety and basic procedures while under supervision. Strong teamwork and clear communication are essential to daily patient care.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED preferred.
• No experience required; 1 year of patient care experience preferred.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required upon hire.
• CNA certification preferred; certification from a Patient Care Technician program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients from birth through the lifecycle under supervision of licensed clinical staff.
• Demonstrate competency with treatments, procedures and equipment per hospital policy.
